Financial Information

We believe that a clear understanding of fees, payment and insurance is just as important as a clear understanding of your health and dental care.  If you have any financial questions, please ask us!  We want you to have the best understanding possible and are always happy to speak with you.

Payment Options

We are committed to providing you with the finest dental care at a most reasonable cost.   Prompt payment enables us to keep our fees at the lowest level possible.  Therefore, payment is always due at the time of service.

For your convenience we accept cash, personal or cashier’s checks, Visa, MasterCard and Discover.  Please note, if you are making a cash payment, exact change is strongly encouraged.  Our office does not keep cash on hand and is unable to make change.

Payment Plans

Dr. Mead has made arrangements with CareCredit to provide payment plan options.  This allows you to complete your dental care without delay and make relatively small, no-interest, monthly payments.  We will happily give you more information if this payment option makes sense for you.

Dental Insurance

As a service to our patients, we will file your dental insurance claims.  Please provide us with complete and current insurance information at each visit so that we can help you receive your maximum insurance benefits.  We currently accept all private care insurance plans, however we are not contracted with any insurance carriers.  Even if Dr. Mead is not on your insurance plan’s “list”, you most likely will still receive dental benefits.  If you have a question about your specific insurance, please give us a call.  We are happy to talk with you about your specific circumstances.

We work hard to provide the most accurate estimate of your co-pays.  Please understand that most insurance plans pay only a portion of treatment cost and we can only estimate what your insurance company will pay.  We ask that our insured patients be prepared to pay all amounts not covered by the insurance estimate on the date of service.  Please remember you are fully responsible for all fees charged by this office regardless of your insurance coverage.

Patient Billing

We will send you a statement for any balance on your account.  Please call our office if you have any questions or concerns about your statement.  Your prompt remittance is appreciated.  We realize that temporary financial problems may affect timely payment of your account.  If such problems do arise, we encourage you to contact us promptly for assistance in the management of your account.
